The owners of the company have over 30 years combined experience in the electronics resale and recycling industry both in the corporate and privately owned business sectors. We have provided recycling services for fortune 500 companies, government agencies and small to mid sized businesses.Castaway provides a complete end-of-life data security solution utilizing data forensics experience and state-of-the art data purge technology to eradicate information making it impossible to retrieve by recovery software, data forensic lab technology and or criminal hijacking. This eliminates the possibility of identity theft, safeguards intellectual property and protects personal or other sensitive information.
In terms of physical security, we always help to educate our clients on legal and environmental issues to help reduce or mitigate risks. We encourage our clients to inquire about our processes, practices, partners and technology. The equipment is processed and recycled domestically, eliminating the risk associated with the exportation of electronics to countries without the strict environmental and security concerns that are present in the United States and Europe.
